Rev. Canon Chris Kinyanjui

General Secretary of the NCCK

Rev. Canon Chris Kinyanjui Kamau is the General Secretary of the National Council of Churches of Kenya. He is an ordained Priest of the Anglican Church of Kenya.

He holds a Master’s Degree in International Economic Law, from the University of South Africa, a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Nairobi and a Diploma in Legal Practice from the Kenya School of Law. Rev. Kinyanjui is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. He is a Certified Public Secretary (CPS-K) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya and the Law Society of Kenya.

 

Rev. Kinyanjui serves in the Board of Directors of various organizations among them; Christian Students Leadership Centre, SMEP Microfinance Bank, Jumuia Hospitals Limited and National Council for Population and Development. He is also a Council Member and a member of the Board of Trustees of St. Paul’s University.

Rev. Kinyanjui served as the Clerk of the County Assembly of Murang’a and the Secretary to the County Assembly Service Board from 2014 – 2019.
